Former England cricketer and ICC umpire Richard Kettleborough has publicly mocked Pakistan’s ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan after a dismal performance in the third and final ODI against the West Indies at the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium in Tarouba on Tuesday, August 12.
Jayden Seales was on fire with the ball, and he sent the delivery that pitched on a good length outside off, jagged back in sharply, and crashed into the top of the off-stump. Mohammad Rizwan expected the ball to pass harmlessly, so he let the ball pass him, but it ended up shattering his stumps.
Richard Kettleborough pokes fun at Mohammad Rizwan’s stunned look after a golden duck
Rizwan walked back for a golden duck, but it was the Pakistan captain’s reaction that caught the attention of Richard Kettleborough. As Seales left Rizwan looking completely stunned, the well-known umpire mocked how the Pakistani wicketkeeper-batter’s reaction didn’t match the reality.
Kettleborough took a cheeky dig at Rizwan, as his stunned reaction looked more like someone who had fallen agonizingly short of a hundred. The umpire couldn’t help but poke fun, highlighting how Rizwan had been out for a golden duck and missed his century by a full 100 runs.
Taking to his social media handle X (formerly Twitter) to share the clip, Richard Kettleborough posted, X: “Rizwan missed his century by exactly 100 runs 🤐. But his reaction seems as if he got bowled on 99. 😯” What’s your take on this? 🤔”

West Indies vs Pakistan 3rd ODI Match Highlight
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s three-match ODI series in the Caribbean ended in a disaster as they crumbled to just 92 runs while chasing the target of 295. The Men in Green suffered a crushing 202-run defeat in the ODI series-deciding match at Brian Lara Cricket Stadium in Tarouba.
After Mohammad Rizwan departed for a golden duck, Babar Azam was dismissed for only nine runs off 23 balls. West Indies pacer Jayden Seales tore through the Pakistan lineup, returning with a career-best 6/18 in the third ODI to help his team register a historic series win.
Earlier, West Indies skipper Shai Hope anchored the innings with a superb 120, guiding his team to 294/6 in their 50 overs. The hosts had bounced back strongly after losing the three-match ODI series opener by five wickets, leveling the series with a five-wicket victory in the second ODI, and then emphatically sealing the series in the final game on Tuesday.

Mohammad Rizwan reacts to embarrassing loss
Mohammad Rizwan said after the match, “We understood this was the third game, given a Test across four innings was played on this deck. The momentum in the last 10 overs took it away, as we were on top for the first 40 overs. We thought 220 was chaseable here. The credit goes to them. Credit to Hope. The execution was good, but the edges went in their favor.
Hope batted well and played some good shots. We had Ayub and Salman bowling. We thought Abrar would come and bowl. But Hope batted well, and hence he didn’t complete his overs. Seales was bowling well. He troubled us through the series. We needed partnerships and needed to spend some time.”
