Khushi Mukherjee breaks the silence on Suryakumar Yadav controversy
Now, Khushi has finally broken her silence on the matter involving the Indian cricketer. The actress has insisted that she has not defamed Suryakumar in any way. She simply mentioned that they had spoken earlier, and there was nothing wrong in it.
Although Khushi admitted that she probably did not need to bring it up but made it clear that there was no bad intention behind her words.
Khushi Mukherjee was quoted as saying by Instant Bollywood, “Nahi, bilkul nahi. Mere moonh se baat nikal gayi ki haan, baat hoti thi; shayad nahi nikalna chahiye tha. Par usme I don’t think defame karne wala aisa koi bhi baat thi. (No, not at all. It came out of my mouth that we used to talk. Maybe it should not have. But I don’t think there was anything defamatory about it.”

No legal notice yet
The social media influencer also revealed that she has not received any legal notice so far. Without mentioning Faizan Ansari directly, she accused influencers of using the situation to gain fame and attention. The actress also slammed those fueling the controversy further.
Khushi further noted, “Rahi baat baki aise kuch sasthe se influencers hai, bonfire mai haath sekne aa gaye aur bhokne lag gaye. (About such cheap influencers, they come to warm their hands in the bonfire and start barking.) Let them bark. So let them bark; that’s all I can say. But I haven’t received any defamation or legal notice.”
Actress slams influencers and media hype
The actress, who primarily worked on South film industry, made it clear that she has no intention of dragging Suryakumar Yadav’s name into unnecessary drama. She believes that the situation has been used by many for their own benefit to gain the spotlight.
She signed off by saying, “I’ve not received any legal notice or anything of that sort. News channels often lack real topics, so they tend to exaggerate small issues and turn them into big controversies. I mean, baat hoti thi, theek hai, sach hai. (It is true that we used to talk.) But defamation? No, I haven’t received any defamation, and I don’t think in any way I have defamed him.”
