India broke a key partnership with a sharp fielding effort from Ravindra Jadeja at the backward point. The crowd at the Holkar Stadium erupted as India struck at an important moment.
Harshit Rana forced Will Young into an attacking cut shot. Young stayed back and hit the ball in the air instead of keeping it down. Jadeja reacted quickly, dived to his right, and completed a clean catch with both hands. It was not an easy chance, but he made it look controlled.
Young was dismissed for 30 off 41 balls, with five fours and one six. The wicket ended a 53-run stand and gave Rana his second wicket of the innings. India celebrated the breakthrough with energy, led by Virat Kohli, as momentum shifted back in their favour.

Rana dismissed Conway in all three ODIs, giving away only 18 runs in 23 balls. India captain Shubman Gill’s call to give the new ball to Rana ahead of Mohammed Siraj alongside Arshdeep Singh paid off immediately in the must-win match.
