The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 is scheduled to start from 26th March and end on 3rd May 2026. This is the 11th edition of the franchise league of Pakistan. It has introduced to new teams, in the name of Hyderabad Kingsmen and Sialkot Stallionz, as they prepare to expand the league in the upcoming years.
However, there has been a concern surrounding the PSL organised in Pakistan. As per the reports from the Pakistan news channel, Samaa News, it is believed that the PSL 11 final will be hosted outside of the country at a neutral venue. As reports arrive, three countries are being considered to host the final.
PSL to happen outside Pakistan
England, Dubai, or the United States are the countries that have been taken into consideration, and the franchises will be decided based on discussions. An important discussion regarding hosting the final out of the country happened during a meeting between the PSL management and the franchises, and the prospect of holding the final outside of Pakistan is being considered.

According to the management, the USA and England are the best venues to host the PSL final.
UAE to host PSL 2026 final?
PCB is familiar with the UAE, having started there in 2016. The first two seasons were played entirely there, with the exception of the 2017 final. Season six of the league, in 2021, had to be played in the UAE due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So this time, PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi is thinking of holding the league in some other country.
England has been a home for the Pakistan National Cricket Team. As the Men in Green used to play their games in England after the 2009 terror attack on the Sri Lanka national cricket team, six members of the team were wounded, and six Pakistani policemen and two civilians were killed.
After six years in 2015, the team returned to their home to play their first game in Pakistan against Zimbabwe. The USA can also be a place to host the league, keeping in mind the cricketing development of the associate nations, and to gather fans in the stadium as well.
Mohsin Naqvi is in deep trouble
UAE has been one of the homes of Pakistan, as they are well suited with the conditions. However, under Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan cricket has found themselves under lot of chaos, from the India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup controversy, to many more.
The first match, scheduled for March 26, features Lahore Qalandars vs Hyderabad Kingsmen at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. However, the change of venues can lead to an extra expenditure for the franchises. Fans await the official news on where the tournament will be played.
