
England players have made notable progress in the latest ICC Men’s T20I rankings released on Wednesday, June 11. Among the biggest movers is veteran leg-spinner Adil Rashid, who climbed closer to the top of the ICC Men’s T20I Bowling Rankings and is now just one step away from the top spot.
England completed a 3-0 whitewash over the West Indies in their recent T20I series, ending with a 37-run win in Southampton on June 10. Jos Buttler finished as the top scorer of the series with 165 runs. England bowler Luke Wood was the leading wicket-taker with five wickets across two matches.
Jos Buttler Returns to Top Five in ICC Men’s T20I Batter Rankings
England and West Indies batters have been rewarded with massive boosts in the ICC Men’s T20I rankings. Ben Duckett, who scored 115 runs at a strike rate of 169, climbed 48 places to reach 16th. Meanwhile, Jamie Smith, who scored 102 runs at a strike rate of 200, jumped 192 spots up to 75th.
Jos Buttler returned to the world’s top five after moving up one position. Harry Brook also climbed six places to joint 38th after scores of 35* and 34 in the last two games.
For the West Indies, captain Shai Hope climbed 14 spots to 15th due to two consistent knocks in the 40s. Rovman Powell also broke into the top 20 after his unbeaten 79 off 45 balls in the final match.

Adil Rashid Closes in on No. 1 Spot in ICC Men’s T20I Bowler Rankings
Adil Rashid climbed to second place in the ICC Men’s T20I Bowling Rankings after impressive outings. The veteran leg-spinner claimed four wickets across the three games, returning figures of 1/22, 1/59, and 2/30.
Rashid overtook Wanindu Hasaranga and Varun Chakaravarthy and is now just 13 points behind the top-ranked bowler, Jacob Duffy of New Zealand.
Brydon Carse also jumped 16 spots to 52nd after picking up two wickets in the final two matches of the series. Meanwhile, West Indies spinner Akeal Hosein dropped three places to fifth in the updated rankings.

Jason Holder contributed with both bat and ball during the series. The West Indies all-rounder, who scored 70 runs and took a wicket, jumped 16 places to reach 26th position in the ICC Men’s T20I All-Rounder Rankings.
Meanwhile, India’s Hardik Pandya continues to hold the top spot in the T20I All-Rounder Rankings.
