Watch Spooky Scenes As Corbin Bosch Destroys Mitchell Owen S Stumps But Batter Refuses To Get Out

The 30-year-old South Africa National Cricket Team all-rounder Corbin Bosch was part of an absurd moment during the second T20I match of the series against the Australia National Cricket Team.

Corbin Bosch damaged the stumps of the 23-year-old Australia National Cricket Team batter Mitchell Owen with a stunner, but the batter survived as the bails didn’t fall.

Lucky escape for Mitchell Owen as bails refuse to fall

Corbin Bosch looked stunning with the ball in the match against the Aussies at the Marrara Stadium in Darwin on Tuesday, August.

He bowled three overs in which he conceded just 20 runs and picked up the wickets of Mitchell Marsh, Ben Dwarshuis, and Adam Zampa.

He could have added one more wicket to his tally by dismissing Mitchell Owen, but the bails had some other plans, and the batter survived.

On the second ball of the 13th over, Corbin Bosch bowled a full-length delivery to Mitchell Owen on off-stump, and the batter got forward to loft but completely missed.

The ball cannoned into the outside of the off-stump, but the bails didn’t fall. One of the zing bails even got lit up and moved from its position, but remained intact.

Corbin Bosch looked absolutely shocked after the incident, and Ryan Rickelton and Rassie van der Dussen also couldn’t believe what they saw.

He hits it miles, quite a freakish display – Aiden Markram hails Dewald Brevis

The Proteas managed to win the match by 53 runs and level the series against Australia thanks to an unbelievable knock of 125* runs from the batting sensation Dewald Brevis.

Speaking after the match, South Africa captain Aiden Markram said that Dewald Brevis’ freakish display left everyone in awe. He said:

“Nice to take it to the third game of course. We always worry when we lose the first game that the third game will be for nothing. (on Brevis’ knock tonight) The boys just found themselves laughing on the side. He hits it miles, quite a freakish display. It’s scary, he will keep getting better, hell of a ball-striker.

“We know they come really hard, holding your nerve and proud of the boys for getting the balls in the right areas which allowed us to take those wickets.”

Australia skipper Mitchell Marsh was also quite impressed with the batting performance of Dewald Brevis, and he lauded the youngster. He said:

“Was just saying to Aiden, he mistimed quite a few sixes tonight, he is a young powerful player (Brevis). As I said pre-game, chasing it down was always tough and fair play to South Africa.”
