Former Indian cricketer Yograj Singh, who had gained the spotlight for his vile accusations against former Indian captain Kapil Dev, has now dropped another bombshell. Yograj avoided Kapil Dev’s controversy and claimed that he has moved on and doesn’t stick to the past.
The Yograj Singh and Kapil Dev feud is nothing new, but the two contemporaries have often made vile accusations against each other, and hence have taken the spotlight. Singh’s accusations have been more direct and often controversial.
Kapil Dev, on the other hand, has taken pride as the World Cup-winning skipper and mocked Yograj Singh as a nobody in Indian cricket. He has also placed the accusations made as nonsensical.

Controversial Former cricketer Yograj Singh recently appeared on Ravish Bisht’s interview, and the controversy surrounding Kapil Dev was stirred again.
“Kya aapke aur Kapil paaji k rishte thik hain? Kyunki beech mein apne hi bataya tha kisi podcast mein ki aap naraz hoke unke ghar bhi chale gaye the (Is everything alright between you and Kapil paaji. Because sometime back you had assessed your tiff with him on a podcast),” questioned Raghav Bisht.
“Aapne kaunse rishte karwane hain? Choro, ye meri aur uski baat hai; tum koi dusri baat karo. (You are not going to mend our relationship anyway, the matter is between me and him so let’s not talk about that,” said Yograj Singh.
“Sir, do bare cricketers hai na? Ek taraf Yograj Singh hai aur ek taraf Kapil Dev,” said the presenter. The former cricketer instantly replied, “Na na na, I am not answerable to anybody; jo maine bolna tha bol diya, bas ho gaya. I don’t know him; he doesn’t know me. Pack up!!”

“Agle Janam mein milenge” – Yograj Singh on Kapil Dev
When the presenter kept pestering him for a response on the controversial issue, Yograj got pissed off, commented that he does not hold on to the past and believes in moving on. Hence, Kapil Dev is still stuck in the past while he has moved ahead.
“Mein na wo khadde mein nehi rehta. Move on, aage chalo, upar jaoo. Wo reh gaya piche bohot, Yograj Singh bohot aage nikal gaya.”
“Aagle janam mein milenge. Fir khelenge, fir dekhenge (We shall meet in our next life again, play again and then we will see),” Yograj Singh concluded.
Why does Yuvraj Singh’s father, Yograj Singh, hate Kapil Dev?
Yograj Singh stirred up a controversy claiming that two of India‘s greatest captains, Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni, have had a negative impact on his and especially his son’s careers. He made accusations that Kapil used his influence to affect Yuvraj’s selection in the Indian team.
This has been the very reason for the controversies as well as the feud. However, Yuvraj Singh nullified such accusations and sided with the Indian greats instead of his father. He also claimed that his father has gotten old now and sometimes speaks without making much sense.
